Customer Criticizes Amazon for Water-Damaged Camera Delivery, Sparks Online Jokes

A customer recently expressed his dissatisfaction with Amazon India after receiving a high-value camera package that arrived in a water-damaged state. The incident raised questions about the handling of expensive electronics during the delivery process. Although the camera itself remained undamaged, the customer was disheartened to see such a premium product delivered in a less-than-acceptable condition, prompting him to share his experience on social media to highlight the issue.

In a video posted on Instagram, Karan Hiranandani showcased the condition of the camera equipment, which was valued at Rs 80,000. He revealed that the package was delivered in a flimsy corrugated cardboard box that was not only dirty but also soaked with water. Upon opening the box, he discovered that there was water inside, although fortunately, it did not affect the functionality of the electronic device. Hiranandani remarked, “A thin corrugated box was used to deliver my camera equipment and the action camera by Amazon,” emphasizing his disappointment with the packaging quality.
