Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's ascent in Indian cricket has taken a significant leap as he has been appointed the vice-captain of the East Zone team for the upcoming 2026 Duleep Trophy. The 15-year-old prodigy will serve as the deputy to the renowned wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan during this prestigious zonal tournament, which is set to unfold next month at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence (CoE).
