Kerala Cyber Police File FIR Against TG Mohandas for Controversial Remarks

The Cyber Police in Thiruvananthapuram have initiated legal proceedings against TG Mohandas, a prominent RSS ideologue, following his inflammatory comments regarding students who participated in protests in Delhi concerning the alleged leak of the NEET question paper. This action comes in response to multiple complaints lodged against Mohandas for his derogatory statements aimed at the demonstrators who gathered at Jantar Mantar. Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is now underway to examine the circumstances surrounding his remarks and their implications for public safety and discourse.

In a video released on July 26, Mohandas outlined his proposed response to the protests, suggesting a severe crackdown on the demonstrators. He stated, “I will impose a curfew in that area. I will announce the crowd to disperse three times. Then I will shoot, people will scatter and run. Some may die and some may suffer injuries. Within four hours the situation will be calm. The bodies will be collected and taken to hospitals.” His comments have sparked outrage and raised concerns about the potential for inciting violence against peaceful protesters. In light of these developments, Kerala's Chief Minister VD Satheesan confirmed receiving a formal request from the Leader of the Opposition, Pinarayi Vijayan, advocating for the withdrawal of police cases against individuals who showed support for the student protests.
