Jared Leto Denies New Sexual Assault Allegations as 'False'

Jared Leto has strongly rejected a series of sexual assault allegations that have emerged in a recent BBC documentary titled "Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret." The 54-year-old actor, who is also the frontman of the band Thirty Seconds to Mars, responded to these claims in a statement provided to Page Six shortly after the documentary was released. Leto asserted unequivocally that he has never engaged in any form of sexual assault, labeling the allegations as completely and categorically untrue. The documentary presents various accusations, the earliest of which dates back to 2002, involving a woman named Isabel who was 17 at the time. She alleges that Leto assaulted her in a motel bathroom. The film further claims that in 2006, Leto had sexual relations with another woman named Clara, who was also 17, and allegedly dismissed concerns regarding California's legal age of consent during their interaction.

In addition to these claims, another accuser, Alex, alleges that Leto threatened her with sexual assault when she was 19 years old inside a hotel room. Etta, who was 16 at the time, describes a troubling pattern of grooming that began the following year, recounting numerous sexually explicit phone calls from Leto, including one instance where he purportedly suggested they engage in sexual activity. Another woman, identified as Taylor, has come forward with her own allegations, stating that Leto made an inappropriate remark about her chest during an autograph signing at a music festival, an incident that occurred in front of her mother. Taylor also claims that Leto subsequently requested a security guard to escort her backstage. The documentary features accounts from four additional women who allege they received sexually explicit phone calls from Leto, further compounding the seriousness of the accusations.
