In a heart-wrenching incident in Assam, an ice cream vendor found himself in a dire situation after being robbed while he took a brief rest beside his cart. The unfortunate event unfolded when the vendor, feeling unwell due to severe stomach pain, decided to lay down for a moment. Upon awakening, he was devastated to discover that not only had his entire stock of ice cream been stolen, but also the cash he had on hand, amounting to Rs 500. This shocking experience left him not only financially strained but also deeply concerned about how he would provide for his family that day. The emotional toll of the theft was evident as he recounted his ordeal, expressing that his primary worry was not the loss of his merchandise but the impact it would have on his children’s well-being.

The story gained traction on social media after Pankaj Gogoi, a passerby, shared a video of the encounter on Instagram. In the footage, he approached the visibly upset vendor, who was sitting despondently next to his cart. Pankaj engaged him in conversation, learning about the vendor’s plight and the unfortunate circumstances that led to the theft. As the vendor shared his story, he broke down in tears, revealing the emotional burden he carried. Pankaj, moved by the vendor's situation, decided to take immediate action. He first offered to buy the vendor a meal, ensuring that he had something to eat after the distressing experience. But Pankaj didn’t stop there; he went further by taking the vendor to a nearby grocery store, where he purchased essential items such as rice, milk, and biscuits, providing the vendor with much-needed supplies to take home to his family.
