Israeli Airstrikes Claim Lives of Four in Gaza Amid Ceasefire Violations

Recent Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of at least four individuals, including children, in the Gaza Strip, raising serious concerns about ongoing violations of a supposed ceasefire. According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, hospitals have received six bodies and 34 injured individuals over the past 24 hours. This tragic toll includes four new fatalities, alongside one person who succumbed to injuries from previous attacks and another body that was recovered. The situation remains dire as the conflict continues to escalate, despite international calls for peace and adherence to the ceasefire agreement.

Among the casualties, a man and an eight-year-old child were killed during an airstrike in Khan Younis, a southern city in Gaza. Health officials reported that the strike targeted a tent encampment that housed individuals displaced by the ongoing siege, which has rendered over 1.2 million people homeless—approximately 60 percent of the population. In a separate incident at the Bureij refugee camp, an 18-month-old baby lost their life when an airstrike hit a residential building, injuring eight others in the process. Additionally, a Palestinian man riding a bicycle in Gaza City was killed, and ten others were wounded in the same strike, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of the violence.
