NEET Student Claims Result Altered Multiple Times, Files Petition in High Court

A student who participated in the NEET UG examination has raised serious concerns regarding the integrity of the results released shortly after the test. According to the student, who took the re-NEET exam on June 21, 2026, the score displayed on the official portal changed three times within a mere 24-hour period. This alarming claim has been brought to light by Advocate Vineet Jindal, who is representing the candidate in a petition filed with the Delhi High Court. The student initially reported a score of 650, which was later adjusted to 500 and then further reduced to 135. Advocate Jindal took to social media to share the details of this troubling situation, emphasizing the need for clarity and accountability in the examination process.

In the petition, the student is seeking the court's intervention to compel the National Testing Agency (NTA) to provide access to the original OMR answer sheet used during the examination. The candidate's frustration stems from the unexplained fluctuations in the reported scores, which have raised doubts about the accuracy and reliability of the evaluation process. Advocate Jindal noted that the student is requesting not only the original answer sheet but also all relevant documents related to the processing of results, aiming to ensure that the examination was conducted fairly and transparently.
