Bengaluru and Goa Shine in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 Rankings

The prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 list, sponsored by Perrier, was unveiled on July 28 at Wynn Palace in Macau, revealing that three bars from India have made the esteemed selection. The bars recognized include Boilermaker in Goa, along with Soka and Bar Spirit Forward from Bengaluru. While this year’s representation is slightly reduced compared to last year, when five Indian bars were featured, the quality of the selection has notably improved, with Boilermaker achieving a remarkable position within the top 10. The top honor for the year went to Hope & Sesame in Guangzhou, which celebrated its tenth anniversary by becoming the first bar in mainland China to be awarded the title of Best Bar in Asia.

Boilermaker has secured the highest ranking for Indian bars this year, and those who have visited can easily understand why. The establishment embodies the essence of a lively house party that has seamlessly merged with the atmosphere of a dive bar. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and patrons are particularly fond of the nano plates—smaller, Indian-inspired dishes designed for sharing while enjoying a few drinks.
