A routine ride home turned into a troubling experience for a woman in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, when she claimed that a Rapido driver abandoned her midway through the journey. The incident unfolded after she declined to take a route that was not displayed on the app's map. In a video shared on Instagram, the woman, identified as Janvi Choudhary, recounted the distressing event. She explained that the driver insisted on taking an off-map route, which raised her concerns about her safety. The video featured a caption stating, "This guy from Rapido dropped me off in the middle of the street while it was raining," highlighting the precarious nature of her situation.
