The ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has tragically surpassed the grim milestone of 1,500 fatalities, as the virus continues to spread at an alarming rate, outpacing the efforts of health authorities to contain it. Recent statistics released by the government indicate that the DRC has recorded a total of 3,442 confirmed cases of Ebola, with the death toll now standing at 1,521.
