Rohit Bal's 2026 Collection Celebrates Velvet, Florals, and Regal Elegance

At the Hyundai India Couture Week 2026, a prestigious event organized by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the spotlight shone brightly on renowned designer Rohit Bal. His latest collection, which graced the runway, transcended the conventional boundaries of fashion, resembling a vibrant garden that blossomed in his honor. The ambiance was set with lotus-leaf canopies suspended above, real grass carpeting the floor, and mist swirling around the models, creating an ethereal atmosphere that blurred the lines between a fashion show and a poignant tribute. The stage itself spoke volumes, establishing a darkly romantic tone that would define the collection to come. The show featured an array of lehengas paired with cropped velvet jackets, a recurring theme that showcased Bal's thoughtful approach to design. One of the standout pieces was a striking black velvet jacket adorned with delicate embroidered dots, paired with a striped lehenga in rich hues of red, blue, and green.
