The divorce between Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary remains one of the most talked-about celebrity separations in India, particularly due to the serious allegations of domestic violence that surfaced during their split. Shweta, a well-known actress, accused Raja of physically assaulting her on multiple occasions and even disrupting her work environment. However, Raja has recently come forward to refute these claims, stating emphatically that the accusations are unfounded. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Raja expressed his disbelief at the allegations, stating, "That’s a lie. That’s a lie. Total lie." He further insisted that he has never physically harmed Shweta, although he did admit to damaging property during moments of anger. "I may have broken things—the door, TV, the table—but I never raised my hand at her," he clarified, attempting to distinguish between property damage and physical abuse.
The conversation took a deeper turn when Raja was questioned about whether he had ever verbally abused Shweta. He acknowledged that during heated arguments, harsh words might have been exchanged, but he insisted that such language was not meant to be taken literally. Raja explained, "That may be our language when we are angry. It’s just a word coming out of my mouth. There’s no intention behind it." He maintained that he generally does not use abusive language and questioned the rationale behind such behavior, stating, "Why would I abuse anyone?" Nonetheless, he conceded that misunderstandings could have occurred, suggesting that both parties might have contributed to the tensions in their relationship. Raja's comments reflect a complex dynamic, where he attempts to downplay his past actions while also shifting some blame onto Shweta for their conflicts.
